Presenting to you our Ramadhan Ready Edition. Using basic pattern-making skills to create a three-piece prayer set - telekung, kain & padded sejadah. This class is suitable for beginners!
If you have no sewing experience, you are required to sign up for Intro to Sewing Machine class first.
Duration: 3 hours x 3 lessons = 9 hours*

What you’ll be learning/doing:
- Drafting a telekung, kain & sejadah
- Understanding basic drafting, fabric cutting and sewing concept
- Single fold hemming, sewing a seam, overlock, attaching elastic band and waistband
- Sewing batting
Materials Needed (Optional*):
- 3y (60" Width) Cotton Fabric (Telekung)
- 2y (60" Width) Cotton Fabric (Kain)
- 1/2m Cotton Stretch/Jersey (Chin Piece)
- 1.5y (45" Width or above) Flannel Fabric (Upper SIde)
- 1.5y (30" Width or above) Cotton Fabric (Backing)
* NOTE: For Zoom classes, we will be sending a material kit, which consists of materials listed above, over to you. Prior sewing experience is needed. Basic sewing tools such as drafting rulers (straight & curve), chalk pencil, pins, measuring tape and sewing notions are needed.
* All sewing tools & materials will be provided. However, our fabric options are quite limited. If you would like to to bring your own materials, feel free to do so.
* The project is estimated to take 3 lessons to complete. However this depends on the class size and speed. If the class is smaller, it might end 1/2 to 1 lesson earlier.
